The microbes comprising this blend have been selected for their abilities to degrade a wide variety of petroleum hydrocarbons, including benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, xylene, isopropylbenzene, naphthalene, methyl-naph-thalene, hexane, TRPH and related compounds. 101 facilitates the bioremedia-tion of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil, sludge, surface water and groundwater.
